Helps with separation anxiety
This book is cute, simple and to the point. We are in the process of building and maintaining our routine at school drop off. This book helps my 3 year old remember that we say bye-bye and we will be so excited to hear about her day at pickup.

Great Start
This is a great start for a hard concept for my toddler. He is really engaged with this book and it is helping him understand alittle more when we say "bye" that we will always come back. It's catchy and the illustrations are fun too.

Really Helped Seperation Anxiety
My 18 month old was really struggling with separation anxiety. Tears and meltdowns every time we dropped him off at Parents Day Out program. We read this book together every day using his teachers name for the teacher and reminding him that Nana would pick him up at the end of the day. It was perfect for him. Within a week the tears stopped, no meltdowns on arrival. Now he goes and gets the book every time we load up his backpack for “school” the next day.Not a lot of words to read just good pictures and teaching points for parents to remind little ones.

Perfect for starting preschool
We bought this book for our child about to enter preschool and it’s perfect! We loved the graphics and the simplicity of it for our littles. Such a sweet book!

Simple & Helpful
This is a simple and catchy read, I wish the structure was organized a little differently easing but I think it'll work for what we're doing to prepare our barnacle baby (now 3) for pre-k. Also, I have to say I really do love the information in the back of this series of books. We also enjoy Calm Down Time, Hands Are Not For Hitting, and Germs Are Not For Sharing.

I can't believe how well this works!
I really love this book! It captured the interest of my toddler (which is not common). It is simple, and to the point. I love that it says things like "if you get sad, it's ok to cry"--something we all need to be reminded of instead of trying to dismiss the feelings ("you're ok"), which only seems to make things escalate. But it also gives coping strategies like take a deep breath or find somewhere quiet to sit and snuggle. My favorite part, though, is that it tells the toddler that when YOU'RE ready, you can go and play (emphasis mine). I just love that it gives the toddler all that autonomy they yearn for in a situation where they are bound to feel pretty powerless. This is a great book for leaving with a babysitter or just leaving a toddler to play independently when you get some things done around the house. I am still amazed at how well this worked for us!

Very impressed
My two year old was starting daycare and had never really been away from me. I got a couple books to prepare him (as much as a 2 year old can be prepared) and this one has bee. Wonderful. The second day he was destroyed after a long day with strangers but quietly said to me, "mama came back". At the end of the book the parent comes back and it's his favorite part and he always says "came back!". Anyway.. if you're in a similar situation I couldn't recommend this book more.
