This is well made made from quality, durable neoprene. The instruction for fitting a simple and clear and the fit is perfect. Some of the sections were a bit of a pig to fit, but this is due to the nature of the product. It is designed to add weatherproofing and camouflage to a lens so it need to be snug.I have not tested this in the rain yet, but I have no doubt it will offer adequate protection.As for value for money, £108 seems like a lot for a neoprene cover, but when you consider it is protecting a £2000+ lens it seems money well spent. I am very happy with this product.

A really nice lens cover this. A very snug fit, which has its issues getting it on, but when it is on, its fab!

I’d been looking for a cover for my recently purchased Canon 200-800mm lens and this particular one caught my eye. At £108 it’s considerably less expensive than the similar LensCoat Realtree cover which, at the time of writing this review, isn’t available for purchase in the UK. The product seems very well made, with neat stitching around the ends. Each section must be fitted in a particular order, which is fine if you can understand the Chinese instructions (this is where Google Translate comes in handy!).The sections themselves are a tight fit, which is probably not a bad thing, although the piece that covers the zoom tightness ring was actually too loose to be of much use so I ended up leaving it off (but only after I’d already fitted the next section, which was a pain because it’s quite difficult to remove once fitted).The portion that fits around the lens barrel once the lens has been extended to 800mm is held in place with Velcro, which is a good idea because once it has been added the lens cannot then be retracted - unless you first remove this section of camo. Personally I’m probably not going to bother with it as I think the lens is adequately protected without it.The RolanPro lens coat is waterproof (if the manufacturer is to be believed) and over all is an excellent choice if you’re looking for some sort of protection for your lens. An excellent product.

Excellent cover. Fits well

Very well made peace of kit takes a bit of time to fit but once on looks brilliant would highly recommend 😃😃

I’ve used Rolanpro coats for 5 of my lenses so on the 200-800mm Canon zoom I expected it’s usual very snug fit and full waterproofing which is exactly what I got. Those nature photographers thinking of opting for cheap loose fitting neoprene covers should dig deep and spend the extra money. Rolanpro is the business.
